Our Jute Geo-Textiles are an alternative option for slope management, erosion control and soil conservation, earthen embankment stabilisation, river and canal bank protection, as well as road pavement and railway track sub-grade strengthening, and soft soil consolidation. Made of a mesh of jute fibres they reduce erosion by countering the impact of heavy rain and reducing the velocity of water run-off. Seeds can be sown underneath the geo-textile – with the mat protecting the soil until the seeds have germinated and a root system is
Eco-friendly, durable, and effective, Salike Jute Geo-Textiles provide a reliable, sustainable solution for long-term erosion control and soil stabilisation projects.

Our Jute Geo-Textiles can be used in a variety of situations:
Clear the area of stones, weeds and debris. Level and lightly compact the soil.
Spread grass seed or plants over the soil before laying the matting.
Roll out the jute matting over the area, keeping it flat and in full contact with the soil.
Overlap adjoining by about 10–15 cm to prevent gaps.
Fix in place using pegs or pins, especially along edges and overlaps.
Lightly water after installation to help settle the matting and support seed growth.
Inspect regularly and re-secure if needed until vegetation is established.
