Salike® Coir Logs (Coir Rolls)

Salike® Coir Logs are expertly crafted entirely from coir fibre and wrapped n securely in Coir Netting. Coir logs are designed to promote rapid vegetation restoration, and protect the soil composition of landscapes.

How to Install

  • Ensure the number of logs you have are tightly secured together – this can be done with Coir Yarn, or another other strong binding material
  • Dig a trench at the depth of no greater than a one- third of the diameter of the log. For the 1m x 40cm log, the trench should be 10cm deep
  • Lay the Coir Logs into the trench. Use relevant pegs of your choosing to secure the logs into the trench. Salike® recommends 4-6 pegs per metre, depending on the project.
  • If the area is already damaged: Use relevant pegs/stakes to secure the logs into the damaged environment.
