Drain mats

Drain mats are used for restraint of erosion in the surface of the soil, thus protecting against a collapse of the slope.

The “drain mat method” has 3 characteristics of erosion restraint:

Firstly, the non-woven fabrics promptly drain off excess existing water, and flocculants aggregate soil particles on the soil surface.

Secondly, the growth-media pouch, in a convex shape, reduces the momentum of water flow on the ground surface.

Thirdly, the growth-media pouch contains fertilizer and water-holding materials that allow for the rapid growth of plants.

Material used on the net is – PE,
